One constant, however, continues: the beauty and splendor of nature at its best – both the tended and the natural. The Quivira Garden Club was established in 1941 and today its members devote scores of hours beautifying the community with flowers, bushes, and trees. Partly due to their efforts, LakeQuivira has been designated “TreeCity” by the Arbor Day Foundation for the last 16 years. It is a commitment to nature that Quivira residents enjoy and protect.
